Padma is a dedicated, passionate and hardworking environmental professional with over 17 years of experience in mining, smelting and state government regulation.

Over the course of her career, Padma has developed a comprehensive understanding of environmental assessment and approvals, environmental management systems, industry licence condition negotiations and understands environmental compliance.

She has worked on two of Australia’s most complex metal projects at Mount Isa and Port Pirie and this experience has given her a strategic understanding of environmental challenges and how to navigate approvals and compliance.

Padma has technical expertise in water management with over a decade of experience in water regulation for the Queensland state government and GOCs. She has worked on statutory water management plans, asset plans, and made technical contributions to codes of practice, including the CSG Water Management Policy.

Padma’s attention to detail, strong skillset in navigating legislation, and technical expertise has helped build positive stakeholder relationships by providing expert advice to achieve positive environmental outcomes while maintaining core organisational values.
